Reunited at last.
I followed Adam’s advice to “upload pictures to your heart’s content” and created not one, but two albums with pictures from Mitch and Bekah’s wedding and other recent activities. Check them out!
You’ll be glad to know that eyetwelve.com has been moved to a new web host and has a lot more storage space available. We’ve gone from about 450MB to about 16,500MB. So, upload pictures to your hearts’ content.
Here it is. It’s true. Matt, Ryan, Edy, Batia, and some fishing buddies after a long night of fishing. They caught 4 baskets of fish and a half-dozen small squid.
The weekend of March 4, 2006 several visitors made their way over to Grand Rapids. Naomi, Neil, Adam, and Olivia all came for a weekend full of food, fun, and festivities. The pictures are in the gallery.
As I type I am sitting in Cebu City at the Children’s Shelter of Cebu (CSC). The Philippines are amazing (as Ryan can attest to). Filipino kids are the cutest kids alive. To see all the poverty in the city and then to enter the gates of CSC and leave that behind is tough to [...]
After months of sitting and waiting–reading books and making hats–something actually happened. I worked construction today. I am optimistic about the near future, but of course there are no guarentees. So hopefully I will no longer be a blob on the couch.
Back from the far east (Ann Arbor), Adam is once again a resident of I-12. He moved in on Thursday night, and is planning on staying the rest of the summer. The apartment is a bit full right now with 5+ residents, but that’s all part of the atmosphere.
Tomorrow, on Friday night at about 6:30, there will be a little gettogether at the ol’ I-12. Since I’m in Grand Rapids on Spring Break, I will be in attendance, as will most of the I-12 regulars. Word has it that food will be involved, and you surely don’t want to miss that. See you [...]
After spending lots of money in Honduras, I decided to use my skills in Biology and Spanish to find employment. I encountered a position at Excelsa Gardens. Each and every day I get to spend in the great outdoors surrounded by a tropical plant paridse and my fellow Guatemalan workers…and the best part is I [...]
Update to Acidental Action: Looks like the officer will not get charged or disciplined.
I would like to notify everyone that apparently Fishy has been updated. I haven’t gotten a chance to play it all the way through yet, but I though I’d let the I-12 fans know. Careful though, it appears there are some old versions of fishy still out there (ebaums world). Get it from the source. [...]
You guys probably already know about this, since you’re so Intarweb saavy, but just in case, Mozilla released new versions of the Firefox browser and the Thunderbird email client today. This is 0.10 (or the 1.0 Preview Release) for Firefox, and 0.8 for Thunderbird. New Firefox features include a find-as-you-type bar, more noticable SSL alerts [...]
Well friends and family of I 12 I have finally made it to Honduras, figured out my webpage password, and found a good enough internet connection to make a p0st on the webpage. This is a picture of my family and I at Picacho, a park that overlooks the city of Tegucigalpa. I am having [...]
Tonight, after Joel and I watched Ararat in our apartment, we got a call from Allison. She had gotten into a car accident and wanted us to come down to the scene. So, Joel and I drove down to Baxter and Fuller and met up with her. It ended up taking a few hours, but [...]
Joel and I took Mitch to the airport this evening, and he should be in the air on the way to Florida right now. He’ll spend a couple of weeks there, then head off for the semester in Honduras. We’ll miss him in I-12, but I’m sure he’ll have a great time away from home. [...]
Its true we got another lease for I 12 so we dont need to move out or change our domain name.
Yo yo. I’ve got some news for y’all. Three weeks ago on July 9th, 2004 I was a part of a wedding. We already have access to the pictures! That’s right…super fast! You can take a look at the pictures from that event by going to Ben Arendt’s 1337 site. The first box you have [...]
Here we go, folks. Ready? 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… launch.
