Its a sad reality of life, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. I12 was a good thing. It was a place where friends gathered, neighborhood children were welcomed, and feasts were cooked. There was laughing, and sharing, and jubilant celebrations that took place in that small, humble apartment. For two great [...]

So, we’ve decided it is time that we make our love of I12 known to the world! Hence, t-shirt making is in the works. The t-shirt will be from $8.00 to $13.00, depending on how many people buy them, the design, and the color. There has been much brain-storming among the current I12 residents about [...]

Several weeks ago, there was great upheaval in the ranks of I12. There was a mass exodus of almost everyone with a Y chromosome (Neil, Sam, Mitch, and Joel) and an influx of four members of the fairer sex. The astute reader will notice that this leaves Adam among the others, consisting of Allison, Christina, [...]

The thermometer might say only 70°F outside, but the mercury is through the roof in I12. It would be a lie to say that the bare-chested hunks were not contributing to the sauna-like conditions. Ladies, still your beating hearts, for here is an entire gallery of images displaying the pinnacles of the male body which [...]

Back from the far east (Ann Arbor), Adam is once again a resident of I-12. He moved in on Thursday night, and is planning on staying the rest of the summer. The apartment is a bit full right now with 5+ residents, but that’s all part of the atmosphere.

The week and a half mark has past. Being away from I12 is taking its toll. I can’t eat, sleep, or even think anymore. So it’s not that bad, but I do miss the stablizing surrounding of I12. Therefore, I will be returning home this weekend. I would post pictures of my progress, but I [...]

Well, the days of Fishy have long since passed. Geosense, the online world geography game, has now taken over as the most popular and played online game in I 12. There are various boards and levels to choose from and even a multiplayer option. Check it out to see the world of geography you are [...]

Rice rots. That was the new discovery I 12 found out tonight when opening the rice cooker. A brief look into the cooker revealed a vast array of maggots, larva, mold, and a terrible stench. Neil valiantly saved the day by rushing the cooker to the dumpster and ridding it of our unwanted guests. The [...]

Tomorrow, on Friday night at about 6:30, there will be a little gettogether at the ol’ I-12. Since I’m in Grand Rapids on Spring Break, I will be in attendance, as will most of the I-12 regulars. Word has it that food will be involved, and you surely don’t want to miss that. See you [...]

After an embarassingly long time in the I12 refrigerator, an onion sprouted (by sprouted we mean foot long stalk). Upon the discovery of the onion sprout, the plant was immediately trasplanted. From there it took off with its curvy growth pattern and awe-inspiring (as well as smelling) bloom. Like the fragile beauty of a snowflake [...]

Hey there Friends, Scott Hekman here. I’m the newest newbie. And perhaps the youngest. I’m an engineering student who is transferring in from Purdue/GVSU. Yep, this will be my third school. Definitely looking forward to partaking in all the joys that constitute being a brother in the I12 barracks. I’m also planning on attending Thursday’s [...]
